Software Development Expert

Our team is focused on building and maintaining the Golang ecosystem on Ubuntu.

This role entails collaborating with a distributed team to select, integrate and package best-of-breed tooling with Ubuntu to improve developer and operator experience with Go.

You will work from home with global travel 2 to 4 weeks a year for internal and external events.

Key responsibilities include writing high-quality code to create new features, debugging issues, reviewing code produced by other engineers, and discussing ideas to find good solutions.

Required skills and qualifications include relevant Go experience, ideally in cloud-native software and Linux, as well as experience in packaging software for Debian and Ubuntu. An exceptional academic track record is also required.
