Accounting Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional accounting services to clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements, income tax returns and Business Activity Statements for sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies.
  • Remain current with tax law changes and interpret and understand tax law, explaining the implications to clients.
  • Maintenance and completion of client history, trust details and other relevant documents.
  • Completion of basic to intermediate Financial Statements and Tax Returns across all entity types.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting, or a similar relevant qualification.
  • 2 plus years' experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on client accounting and financial statement preparation.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
