Customer Support Specialist - Mandarin Language

We're seeking an exceptional team member to join our Customer Support team. As a core member, you'll be well-positioned to succeed and make a meaningful contribution to our customers' success.

Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the primary point of contact for our Mandarin-speaking customers via phone, email, and chat. You'll address a broad range of issues and requests related to our products, ensuring prompt and accurate responses that meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner, maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.
  • Promptly escalate issues to teammates and the engineering team as needed, exercising judgment on user errors, poor training, product defects, and feature requests.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by proactively checking in with clients until issues are resolved.
  • Actively participate in initiatives that drive business growth, such as assisting in training junior customer support representatives, product testing, and recommending new products to customers.
Requirements:
  • A long-term vision of working and growing with a technology startup, comfortable with adapting to ever-changing processes and making recommendations to improve them.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with global colleagues and customers.
  • Phone support experience and proficiency in using help desk software and remote support tools.
  • Ability to work in the US time zone and willingness to attend occasional in-person meetings.
