Senior Software Engineer - Ruby

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Ruby code for new carrier integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex Ruby applications with focus on carrier integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system architecture initiatives.
  • Improve test coverage and quality of deliverables through effective testing strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Actively participate in scaling the engineering team by contributing to process improvements and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (5-7+ years) as a software engineer with expertise in Ruby.
  • Familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus is a plus.
  • Experience working with public cloud providers such as GCP is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles and microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with designing robust REST APIs and creating CI/CD pipelines.
  • Leadership skills and ability to lead technical initiatives.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
