Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking an experienced financial accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of financial tasks including bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and fixed asset management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
  • Maintaining general ledger accounts and performing month-end/year-end closing procedures
  • Reconciling control accounts (AP, AR, Intercompany etc.) across multiple entities and investigating any discrepancies
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register for multiple entities
  • Collaborating with the wider finance team to ensure month-end close activities are delivered on time

The requirements for this role are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial accounting, preferably in a global company
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
