Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Collections Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

The Collections Representative will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic industry and develop your skills in customer service and account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contacting customers to discuss outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans.
  • Updating customer accounts and documenting all collection activities.
  • Following up on broken promises and maintaining consistent contact with debtors.
  • Adhering to compliance regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Meeting daily and monthly collection targets and call quality standards.
  • Handling disputes and escalating complex cases to the appropriate department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; further education is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in collections or a similar contact center role.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with debt collection laws and practices.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
