Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Direct Response Video Editor. We're looking for an exceptional video editor who can create high-impact, engaging videos that drive sales and conversions.

Responsibilities
  • Create a consistent volume of approximately 10 high-quality short-form videos per day, following preset scripts and styles.
  • Analyze prior video metrics to increase views and conversions, thus boosting performance bonuses.
  • Apply direct-response copywriting principles to review scripts.
  • Manage daily workload efficiently to meet deadlines without needing frequent check-ins.
  • Quickly learn and master new tools and software, and editing techniques as social media trends evolve.
  • Evaluate every video for quality standards and perfectly match provided instructions, minimizing revisions.
  • Maintain clear communication with the executive team, providing updates when necessary.
  • Help train and onboard future video editors to our standards.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate proven experience with direct-response copywriting, ideally for short-form videos.
  • Showcase proven experience with professional video-editing software; strong preference for CapCut Pro, but proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro acceptable.
  • Experience with video generation tools (HeyGen, Captions, etc.) is a major plus.
  • Display strong conversational and written English skills for clear communication.
  • Demonstrate autonomous operation with high agency who thrives without micromanagement.
  • Exhibit rapid learning ability genuinely excited by fast-paced, ever-changing landscape of creative tools and social media trends.
  • Show attention to detail; follow instructions and believe in getting it right the first time.
