About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analysis Lead to join our team at MegaXcess IT Solutions Inc. As a key member of our analytics department, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis findings.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Develop strategies for efficient data collection and analysis to support business objectives.
  • Report Production: Oversee the generation of reports on player activity and financial performance.
  • Insights and Recommendations: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis findings.
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend new data tools and technologies to enhance data processing and visualization.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in data management processes and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborative Analytics: Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and analytical frameworks for transparency and knowledge sharing.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting.
  • Reporting Automation: Develop automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong experience in a quantitative discipline, such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the gambling industry.
  • 2+ years of experience managing a team within a fast-paced data-focused environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL commands.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with online gambling software platforms is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of gambling regulations and best practices is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Preferably has experience with risk management frameworks.
