We are seeking a skilled professional to fill this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable API solutions as part of a dynamic team.
  • Contribute to system scoping, drafting technical specifications, and conducting code reviews.
  • Maintain best practices for backend infrastructure with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design and implement robust test cases for new APIs and integration capabilities.
  • Deploy changes and execute migrations in an agile manner while ensuring backward compatibility.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing through code reviews and technical sessions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across various services and infrastructure layers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in backend software development with a focus on public-facing API products.
  • Deep knowledge of full-stack technologies required to build and run APIs; experience with FastAPI is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Proven experience with microservices architecture and event-based technologies such as webhooks.
  • Aptitude in AI tools and technologies in API development and integration workflows.
  • Proficient in SQL and advanced database design, with strong skills in performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar.
  • Practical experience in CI/CD methodologies and pipeline automation.
  • Experience working with AWS, particularly services like API Gateway, Lambda, and the Serverless Stack.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
