Job Title: Cash Handling Specialist

Job Overview:

Primarily responsible for handling customer transactions, maintaining accurate cash and stock levels, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Process payments and handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Balance cash registers and manage petty cash.
  • Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and other retail equipment.
  • Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain store displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and clean.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management software.
  • Fluency in English and/or additional languages spoken by Primark customers.
