Our team seeks an entry-level professional to join our Managed Services team as a cloud operations specialist.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for someone who is eager to learn and grow within our organization. As a cloud operations specialist, you will be responsible for providing operational support for our cloud-hosted financial data platform. Your primary focus will be on system monitoring, client queries, and data validation.

You will serve as the first point of contact for client queries via ticketing systems, email, or internal channels. You will conduct initial investigations of client-reported issues, particularly around data discrepancies, SQL views, UI behavior, and access rights. When necessary, you will escalate platform bugs, infrastructure issues, or complex SQL problems to senior team members following standard escalation protocols.

Your responsibilities will also include monitoring the health and availability of data pipelines, database processes, and UI endpoints within our Azure-hosted infrastructure. You will use internal dashboards and monitoring tools to identify service degradation, timeouts, or failed jobs. Additionally, you will log and track alerts, ensuring timely resolution or escalation.

You will be responsible for running daily and intraday checks on client data deliveries and platform sync processes. You will validate the accuracy and completeness of trade, position, and reference data using SQL queries and prebuilt validation scripts. Furthermore, you will support standard data reloads, view refreshes, or ad hoc extracts for client teams.

In this role, you will also assist in UAT testing of new platform features, bug fixes, and configuration changes. You will validate that key workflows and data views function correctly post-deployment. Finally, you will document test results and raise issues as needed.
