Job Overview

The Director of Information Technology is responsible for defining and implementing IT strategy, driving digital innovation, and ensuring the delivery of secure, efficient, and compliant IT services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an IT strategy that aligns with business goals and departmental objectives.
  • Oversee the entire spectrum of IT infrastructure, systems, and technologies to ensure efficiency, security, and up-to-date capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technology requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Lead IT compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to industry certifications (ISO27001, ISO9001, SOC) and data protection requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation.
  • Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Monitor key IT metrics, performance indicators, and service levels; report to senior leadership.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT services, software, and hardware.
  • Optimize IT equipment and resource stock levels to ensure availability.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT management.
  • Foster the acquisition and development of IT talent to support technology initiatives.
