Senior Technical Lead - Data Architecture & Engineering

We're looking for a seasoned technical lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to extend your knowledge and experience in technical leadership positions, including technical decision-making, mentorship of junior team members, and developing relationships with project and company leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small to medium-sized technical teams, allocating work and representing the team in Agile ceremonies.
  • Design and implement logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments.
  • Implement data architectures to support various data formats, including structured and unstructured data.
  • Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations.
  • Understanding of data architectures required for data integration processing.
  • Proficiency with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio or similar.
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
  • Data profiling and creation of source to target mappings.
  • Provisioning and configuring Azure data service resources.

Required Skills:

  • Python and SQL scripting expertise.
  • SQL and PySpark proficiency.
  • General cloud architecture competency, capable of building out data pipelines.
  • API knowledge is required; preference for candidates who can create APIs.

Desirable Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • Microsoft Fabric experience.
  • Migrating customers from on-premise environments to Azure.
  • Power BI and semantic modeling expertise.
