Security Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Security Solutions Specialist to join our team. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing security measures to safeguard our systems and data from unauthorized access. As a Security Solutions Specialist, you will manage daily security operations, monitor security events, and lead incident response efforts.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining IT security processes and engineering platforms while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with our team to implement and adopt security tools and processes to enhance our overall security posture.

You will be responsible for monitoring security queues and backlogs, remediating issues as they arise, investigating and responding to security incidents, and developing processes and integrations related to security engineering platforms and tools.

A successful Security Solutions Specialist will have the ability to script in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, and have understanding and experience in working with vulnerability management. Familiarity with security monitoring concepts and SIEM processes is also required.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) and be able to communicate complex technical information in a clear and relatable manner.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with endpoint security platforms, security monitoring platforms, vulnerability management tools, cloud platforms, and scripting languages.
  • Ability to work in an early morning shift (AU time), Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work setup (3 days on-site).
  • Physical location: The Mega Tower, Mandaluyong City.
