Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Data Analyst to analyze digital product usage and define key metrics. This role will directly influence roadmap prioritization, feature adoption, and customer engagement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Analyze user behavior across the product to uncover patterns, friction points, and opportunities.
  • Define, track, and report on key product metrics (e.g., activation, retention, engagement).
  • Perform deep-dive analyses on new feature adoption and product experiments.
Data Management & Instrumentation
  • Partner with engineers and product managers to define tracking requirements.
  • Ensure accurate data collection through tools like Segment, Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA.
  • Monitor data quality and work with teams to resolve inconsistencies.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Translate business questions into structured analyses and communicate findings clearly.
  • Create dashboards and self-serve tools to enable data access across teams.
  • Work closely with product teams to embed insights into roadmap and feature decisions.
Strategic Decision Support
  • Support product strategy with market benchmarking and cohort analyses.
  • Help prioritize product opportunities based on quantitative impact and user need.
Required Skills:
  • 2+ years in a product analytics, business intelligence, or similar data role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with analytics tools.
  • Understanding of user lifecycle metrics and product analytics concepts.
  • Strong communication skills — able to clearly explain complex findings to non-technical audiences.
