Job Title: Business Data Analyst Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex business data to drive informed decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives.



About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Business Data Analyst Specialist. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights.



  • Analyse current and future business environments to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) to capture context, current state, desired outcomes, and objectives
  • Presentation of detailed requirements to stakeholders to obtain consensus and buy-in
  • Review and evaluate proposed solutions for alignment with business needs, highlighting key risks
  • Collaborate with product teams to design and implement solutions that align with the company's strategy
  • Assess and manage the impact of requirements on data systems and business processes
  • Support development, testing, UAT, and implementation by working closely with solution partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Analysis, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data systems and management
  • Proven success in business and quality analysis roles involving complex project delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing abilities at all organisational levels
  • Proficiency with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., user stories, process flowcharting, requirements documentation)
  • Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with project management and change platforms (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Open Project, Azure)
