Accounting Operations Lead

The company seeks an experienced Accounting Operations Lead to manage daily accounting functions, including expenses, fixed assets, leasing, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting.

  • Manage accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Supervise subsidiary accounting activities and work directly with third-party accounting firms.
  • Review and analyze intercompany accounts, post subsidiary trial balances, and perform variance analysis to ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Prepare monthly and year-end financial reports and manage audits and filings for subsidiaries.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts by identifying and implementing solutions to enhance accounting processes and provide support for various ad hoc projects.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, preferably with an advanced degree or CPA certification.
  • 5-8 years of experience in accounting operations, preferably within a BPO or service company, and a background with an international company is a must.
  • Strong grasp of US GAAP, financial controls, and working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and motivate others outside of their direct control.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication abilities and a flexible attitude towards changing priorities.
