Key Role: Laboratory Supervisor

The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee the daily operations of an optical medical laboratory. This involves ensuring efficiency and adherence to production schedules, as well as coordinating workflows to optimize manufacturing.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily operations and ensure that productivity levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to guarantee compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Management: Provide training and evaluation for laboratory staff, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, including preparation for audits and maintenance of accurate documentation.
  • Research and Development Support: Collaborate with R&D teams to support the development of new optical products and technologies.
  • Supply Chain Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, procure raw materials and optical components in a timely manner, and maintain inventory control.
Requirements:
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Optical Engineering or a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the optical industry with a focus on RX lab operations, proven supervisory experience, and strong leadership abilities.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong leadership skills, knowledge of quality assurance processes, technical proficiency in optical manufacturing, analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
