FILSCAP is a leading organization in the music industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least eight (8) years of post-qualification experience from a reputable law firm, with significant litigation experience and a strong grasp of remedial law.

Key responsibilities include handling a high volume of civil, criminal, and administrative cases, mainly involving copyright infringement and collection, as well as developing and executing internal guidelines and protocols under the Legal Department.

The successful candidate will also be expected to provide legal advice to FILSCAP's members, Board of Trustees, Committees, and management, as well as monitor and ensure compliance of FILSCAP with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Advocate and lobby for laws and regulations in the interest of rightsholders;
  • Perform corporate housekeeping duties, including attending meetings, drafting and preparation of minutes of meetings, resolutions, and similar documents;
