Lead Data Science Initiatives

We are seeking a senior data scientist to drive business growth through strategic decision-making and collaboration with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions, and expertise in AI/ML techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive data science strategies to address complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into business operations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML advancements and recommend adoption of relevant technologies and methodologies.
Technical Requirements
  • Design, develop, and validate predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model tuning to improve performance.
  • Build scalable data pipelines and integrate models into production with data engineering and MLOps teams.
  • Ensure robustness, fairness, and explainability of models by evaluating performance using appropriate metrics.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a data scientist/AI/ML engineer and a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; without a degree, 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful data science solutions in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
