Job Title: Data Scientist & Analyst Manager
Location: BGC Taguig| Full-Time

About the Team:
Our Data Science team plays a vital role in analyzing and planning across the company's core functions. We collaborate closely with Gaming, Marketing, and Engineering teams to generate actionable insights and drive strategic decisions. Our work spans multiple focus areas, including gaming, user growth, community, and business strategy.

About the Role:
As a founding member of the Data Science team, the Data Scientist & Analyst Manager will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing high-impact models, reports, and analyses. This role demands a strong background in data manipulation, experimentation, causal inference, and data mining. You'll also be expected to effectively communicate insights that support critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of analytical models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data needs and deliver actionable insights

  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the growth of the data team

  • Identify trends, measure business performance, and guide strategy through in-depth analysis

  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and accountability in all reporting and analytical work

Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of hands-on experience in internet data analysis, with ownership of core business modules

  • 3 years for Junior level, >5 years for Senior/Manager level

  • Proven experience in managing or mentoring data analysts is a strong advantage

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field

  • Strong command of quantitative analysis and data mining methodologies

  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (required) for data processing, modeling, and analysis

  • Structured thinker with high curiosity, analytical depth, and the ability to explore new areas independently

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage deeply with business units and work across teams
