Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, accurate and compliant hydraulic hydrological and water resources design packages. This involves working on Solar Farm, BESS and Substation projects in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preliminary Hydrological and Flooding Reports must be prepared and detailed hydrological and flooding analyses conducted.
  • Flooding Impact Assessments and Reports must be developed and delivered in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • 1D/2D hydraulic modeling using TUFLOW is required for site-specific flood risk assessments and mitigation planning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years proven experience in civil and water resources design within EPC or consultancy is essential.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil /Environmental Engineering (Master's degree in Water Resources and Hydraulics is preferred).
Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in TUFLOW (1D/2D), OptiSurface, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, Navisworks, Revit or equivalent software is required.
  • Strong understanding of structural building codes and legislation in Australia and New Zealand.
