**Senior Laboratory Technician Position**

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team at Prime@Technology Specialists, Inc. As a senior member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for leading quality control efforts and ensuring the highest standards of quality in our laboratory operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily quality control process, ensuring that all tests are performed accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Train and guide laboratory staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Central Maintenance Team (CMT) to ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Monitor and analyze quality control data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Recommend troubleshooting solutions and supervise interventions for quality control errors prior to machine use.
  • Perform phlebotomy procedures, internal verifications of equipment, and measurement of uncertainty.
  • Facilitate EQAS and NEQAS schemes, analyzing lab performance and identifying areas for improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years relevant work experience in a laboratory setting.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with extensive experience running automated laboratory equipment.
  • Strong leadership potential, initiative, and sound judgment.
  • Attended ISO 15189 orientation; relevant trainings/seminars are advantageous.
