The role of an Insurance Specialist is pivotal in the organization, encompassing various responsibilities that ensure seamless processing and management of insurance policy applications. Job Responsibilities

• Process new insurance policy applications, verifying all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Handle endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely manner.
• Review policy applications for compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Documentation Management

• Maintain organized client files and policy records.
• Ensure all policy documentation is properly scanned, filed, and stored.
• Generate and distribute policy documents to clients and relevant parties.

Data Entry and Verification

• Enter policy information into the insurance management system accurately and efficiently.
• Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
• Update and maintain client and policy information in the database.

Customer Support

• Assist clients with inquiries related to policy status, coverage details, and billing.
• Provide support to the customer service team by supplying necessary policy information.
• Communicate with clients, agents, underwriters, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with insurance software such as Applied EPIC, AMS 360, EZ Lynx, and CRM systems.
