Job Title: Custom Furniture Designer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom furniture design, with expertise in creating detailed technical drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed 2D and 3D drawings for custom furniture projects, collaborating with clients and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications, and preparing accurate shop drawings and construction details.

In addition, the designer will need to modify and adjust drawings based on feedback and production requirements, ensuring that all designs comply with structural and material considerations for custom wood fabrication.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp (required)
  • Proven experience creating detailed technical drawings for furniture or millwork
  • Knowledge of custom wood construction techniques (highly preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design concepts into production-ready drawings
