Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Digital Content Creator to design and build websites using Squarespace.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Squarespace platform, excellent design skills, and the ability to create visually appealing websites.

This role involves leveraging Squarespace's capabilities to deliver high-quality digital content that meets client needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new websites from scratch and redesign existing sites using the Squarespace platform
  • Work closely with clients or project managers to understand and implement design and functional requirements
  • Apply modern design principles and best practices for typography, color theory, and layout to create engaging digital experiences
  • Manage website projects from initial concept through to final launch, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure websites are fully functional, responsive, and optimized for different devices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Squarespace development and website design, with a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate proficiency
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in website development
  • Deep proficiency with the Squarespace platform, including its native design features, templates, and e-commerce functionality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design choices and collaborate effectively with clients
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
