Job Summary:

Tax Support Professional

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented tax professional to support our team in preparing and filing accurate tax returns. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience in filing taxes, and a desire to grow within the field of taxation and accounting.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain tax-related documents and records.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct preliminary reviews of financial statements and identify tax-saving opportunities.
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information and clarify tax-related inquiries.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during audits and other financial reviews.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of all tax-related tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in tax preparation or accounting is preferred.
  • Tax Filing Expertise: Experience in tax filing is required.
  • Certification: Enrolled agent certification with the IRS is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., TurboTax, ProSeries) and Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Analytical and Organizational Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for this role.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal abilities are critical for success in this position.
