Lead Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional to lead our team and oversee the preparation of tax returns. This role involves working closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality service is provided to clients while fostering a supportive environment that promotes growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns using Ultra Tax software. They will also be responsible for reviewing tax returns prepared by staff, providing tax planning insights and recommendations to clients, and managing engagement scope, deadlines, and budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare complex tax returns using Ultra Tax software
  • Review and validate tax returns prepared by junior staff members
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning and compliance
  • Manage and supervise tax accountants
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements:

  • CPA license required
  • Master's degree in taxation or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax preparation and review
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
