Senior Tax Manager Position

A seasoned tax professional is needed to lead complex tax work, mentor junior staff and grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare independent returns for individuals, businesses, trusts and non-profits.
  • Review and provide feedback on junior staff's work.
  • Communicate with clients via email regarding documentation and questions.
  • Analyze complex tax situations to identify issues, risks and planning opportunities.
  • Use digital tools to manage workflow and client communication.
  • Collaborate with firm partners on advanced planning and high-level tax matters.
  • Mentor junior team members and take on growing leadership responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience preparing multiple types of tax returns independently - 1040, strong QuickBooks experience.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
  • Exceptional written English communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and career-driven - interested in long-term growth.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and modern workflow systems.
  • Familiarity with ProSeries or similar tax software (a plus).
  • Ready to work extended hours during busy season.
  • Leadership potential and a passion for mentoring others.
