Our company is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as a financial operations specialist.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing financial processes, preparing and lodging business activity statements (BAS) and other tax-related documents.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' financial systems, including processing accounts, payroll, and superannuation payments.

You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, as well as providing feedback to management on ways to enhance our services.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and have experience with Xero and other accounting software.

Other key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing multiple client accounts and prioritizing tasks accordingly
  2. Lodging BAS and other tax-related documents on time
  3. Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  4. Providing high-quality customer service to our clients

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
