Token Metrics is seeking a seasoned Web3 Investment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our investment team, you will be responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging Web3 projects with the potential for exponential returns.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Web3 markets, blockchain technology, and emerging innovations. Your analytical skills will enable you to conduct thorough market research, financial analysis, and project evaluation.

Responsibilities:
  1. Early-Stage Project Identification: Scout for early-stage Web3 projects that exhibit potential for 100x ROI, focusing on those not yet in the mainstream spotlight.
  2. In-depth Analysis and Hypothesis Development: Conduct comprehensive analyses to form and present non-consensus hypotheses about the potential of selected projects, focusing on market demand, innovation, scalability, adoption potential, and team execution capabilities.
  3. Investment Memo Preparation: Compile detailed investment memos that articulate your hypothesis, supporting analysis, ROI projections, and risk assessment strategies in a concise and compelling format.
  4. Pitch Presentation: Develop and present persuasive pitches to the investment committee, highlighting your unique insights and defending your investment thesis against critical evaluation.
  5. Market Research: Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the Web3 landscape to inform investment decisions.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in investment analysis, preferably within the Web3 or fintech sectors.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to conduct detailed market research, financial analysis, and project evaluation.
  • Knowledge of Web3: Deep understanding of Web3 markets, blockchain technology, and emerging innovations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment theses clearly and persuasively.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a knack for developing contrarian viewpoints and uncovering untapped investment opportunities.
