Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

Job Overview:

The role of a DevOps Engineer involves overseeing the smooth operation of software systems from development through deployment. This includes automating testing and deployment processes to minimize manual errors.

  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for cloud-based services like Azure.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Microsoft Stack.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and optimization of cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and enforce best practices in automation, security, and monitoring to guarantee system reliability and scalability.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to improve overall productivity.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a focus on Azure services.
  • Hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, including infrastructure, networking, and security.
  • Proficiency in containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with Tanzu and/or Rancher for container management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Stack tools (Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, etc.) and their application in cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of logging, alerting, and monitoring tools for real-time performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, and operations teams.
