Job Title: SolidWorks Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to develop detailed 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks 2024.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed 3D models and drawings utilizing advanced SolidWorks 2024 software.
  • Ensure company documents are properly prepared, checked, and filed in accordance with established procedures and standards.
  • Prepare project documentation including DXF profiles following company guidelines and drafting standards.
  • Compile product installation and operation manuals for efficient use.
  • Oversee the accurate filing of drawings, including check prints, superseded, and masters.
  • Effectively implement feedback from the manager via model and drawing updates, respecting part numbers and addressing modifications and revisions as needed.
  • Manage projects within specified timeframes.
  • Utilize engineering specifications, sketches, and models to create precise mechanical designs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure drawings align with project objectives.
  • Ensure all mechanical designs comply with industry standards and company policies.
  • Maintain and organize design files and project documentation for future reference in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in preparing project specifications, material lists, and other technical documentation as required.
  • Participate in design review meetings and provide constructive feedback on potential improvements.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following:
  • Mechanical or Structural Designer/Draftsman +5 years of experience.
  • SolidWorks proficiency in designing and drafting.
  • Manufacturing methods knowledge.
