The role of an Engineering Manager is to lead a team and develop colleagues to achieve their professional goals. This involves running an effective team, developing and reviewing code, and ensuring the best way to improve the product is through focused, productive, and unblocked teams.

Collaboration with other Engineering Managers, product managers, and architects is required to produce an engineering roadmap with ambitious and achievable goals.
