Enterprise Java Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Java Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications using modern Java development, cloud architecture, and enterprise-grade software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of professional Java development experience and strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud). They will also have hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions, participate in code reviews, and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.

This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of professional Java development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
