Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Threat Response and Management Expert to join our cybersecurity operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple security technologies and producing enhancements that enable SOC team members to work collaboratively and efficiently while responding to threats.

Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis: Provide evidence, perform data collection, documentation, and structured analysis of forensic data and present the findings to business users.
  2. Triage and Examination: Perform triage and conduct thorough examinations of all types of digital media within client environments.
  3. System Analysis: Forensically analyze both Windows & Unix systems for evidence of compromise.
  4. Log Analysis: Perform log analysis locally and via SIEM/log aggregation tools.
  5. Threat Hunting: Hunt threat actors in large enterprise networks and cloud environments.
  6. Packet Capture Analysis: Analyze and/or decipher packet captures from network protocol analyzers (Wireshark, TCPdump, etc).
  7. Incident Response: Live response python scripting, memory collection, Volatility analysis, Kali, advanced grep knowledge. Able to do initial IR triage and staff on incident bridge calls.
