Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-scale and data-rich applications using Golang, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch software solutions.

About the Role

This role involves developing robust backend components leveraging high-scale data pipelines, working closely with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality in a fast-paced environment, crafting code that meets standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a web environment, and advocating for these standards through code review.

You will be responsible for working with other teams to integrate monitoring and insights features into their product areas, developing features and improvements to the product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way, shipping features with minimal guidance from others, and collaborating on larger projects.

Your Responsibilities
  • Developing Golang Backend components leveraging high-scale data pipelines
  • Collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders to maintain high quality
  • Crafting code that meets standards for style, maintainability, and best practices
  • Working with other teams to integrate monitoring and insights features
  • Developing features and improvements to the product
  • Shipping features with minimal guidance
  • Collaborating on larger projects
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have professional experience with Golang and PostgreSQL, strong database experience, and interest in developing expertise in ClickHouse databases. You should also have experience working with complex applications, building and deploying software with CI/CD or other internal tooling, familiarity with distributed, scalable and reliable systems, and proficiency in the English language.
