Lead Developer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Developer to drive the integration of a 3rd party software application with our internal data infrastructure. The successful candidate will have expertise in full-stack software development, software architecture and engineering best practices, as well as experience with cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and version control systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Automate the integration of a 3rd party software application with our internal data infrastructure.
  • Review and modernize existing automation designs using microservice architecture design principles.
  • Ensure the support and stability of our codebase.
  • Collaborate with our domain SME team to implement enrichment and rules for proper integration.
  • Educate non-development team members on software development best practices.
  • Presentation and update designs to other developers for review, alignment and feedback.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of hands-on full-stack software developer experience in multiple languages: Python, C#, SQL, Javascript, VueJS, Angular, NodeJS.
  • 2+ years of experience driving software architecture & engineering best practices - exercises SOLID or clean coding practices.
  • 5+ years of experience developing with design patterns and microservices infrastructure.
  • 2+ years of DevOps experience setting up CI/CD pipelines and working with containerized environments.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain, diagram and document design decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and be familiar with cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and version control systems such as Git.
