We are seeking a highly skilled AI-focused software engineer to lead the development of a next-generation content capture and organization application—think Evernote meets the modern internet. This role is ideal for someone experienced in leveraging AI tools for rapid development, understanding modern content consumption patterns, and building scalable applications that integrate with diverse data sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a modern, full-featured web application allowing users to:
  • Save and organize content from URLs
  • Upload and view YouTube and Podcast transcripts
  • Record and store audio recordings
  • Upload and view PDFs and images
  • Take notes and annotate saved content

Achieve AI Acceleration:

  • Utilize AI tools like Cursor, V0.dev, DeepSeek, and others to accelerate development and enhance app functionality (e.g., summarization, transcription, search).

Implement User Experience:

  • Implement user authentication and account management
  • Integrate Stripe for payments and subscriptions

API Management:

  • Work with multiple APIs for data extraction, processing, and storage—including transcript services, AI model APIs (e.g., Claude, DeepSeek), and content scrapers.

Database Design:

  • Design scalable database models and backend systems.

Dev Tools:

  • Use modern development tools and platforms; premium tools are encouraged.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably in content- or AI-centric products
  • Strong command of AI development tools (Cursor, V0.dev, Claude, DeepSeek, etc.)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (React.js / Node.js) or equivalent modern full-stack tech
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
  • Knowledge of transcript APIs, media handling, and data parsing
  • Experience with authentication, Stripe, and database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality
