Job Title: Auditing Expert

A leading firm seeks a diligent auditing expert to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience in audit and ERISA, Employee Benefit Plans Experience.


Responsibilities:
  • Performing audits of client financial statements under the supervision of senior personnel.
  • Completing audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings.
  • Staying updated on current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collecting, assimilating, and analyzing client data using standard processes and tools.
  • Identifying technical issues in various projects and sharing suggestions with senior personnel.
  • Recommending ways to streamline operations and increase client satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college.
  • Experience with generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA) and industry-specific rules.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills.
  • A desire to provide exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
