We're looking for a skilled Content Editor to refine and enhance blog content, ensuring it meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and client alignment. If you're detail-oriented, have a passion for language, and understand SEO and AP style, you'll thrive in this fast-paced role.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy.
• Strategically add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience.
• Ensure all client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately and consistently represented.
• Select and insert appropriate images, including occasionally writing effective alt text.
• Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate any grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation mistakes.
• Maintain a high standard of content quality, adhering to project guidelines and client expectations.
• Efficiently edit 3-4 articles per hour while maintaining accuracy and quality.

Requirements:

• Proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content, preferably blogs or articles.
• AP Style proficiency, with a strong understanding and application of Associated Press (AP) style guidelines.
• SEO knowledge, including familiarity with basic SEO principles, such as keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a meticulous eye for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and factual accuracy.
• Strong language skills, with a genuine passion for language and a natural wordsmithing ability.
• Proficiency with Grammarly and other essential tools.
• Excellent written communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, preferably aligning with EST (Eastern Standard Time) for easier collaboration.

Benefits:

$8 per hour, depending on your location and skills/experience.

15 Days Paid Time Off + Christmas Day + New Year's Day Paid Off.
