A highly experienced accounting professional is required to lead the finance team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts, presenting financial results at management meetings, and managing external auditor relations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts collaboratively with key stakeholders.
- Present financial results at management meetings effectively.
- Manage external auditor relations, including audit queries.
- Partner with Commercial Managers to prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations as needed.
- 4+ years of experience in Australian accounting and tax, preferably in related sectors.
- A qualified accountant (CA/CPA preferred).
- Relevant experience in diverse revenue streams such as memberships, events, and advertising.
- Sage Intacct experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Chargebee and HubSpot is an advantage.
- Highly autonomous and self-motivated.
- Process improvement-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
