Job Description

As a seasoned DevOps expert, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and help our clients achieve their digital transformation goals.

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Consultant to join our managed services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud computing, DevOps practices, and IT service management.

  • Provide ongoing support and escalation services for our clients' Azure platforms.
  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve incidents related to client infrastructure running in Azure.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify IT issues, troubleshoot efficiently, and follow up on issues via email, ticketing systems, and phone calls.
  • Install, configure, and administer client systems in Azure to enhance their infrastructure.
  • Configure and tune cloud-based tools, manage cost, security, and compliance for client environments.
  • Execute monthly maintenance plans for Azure infrastructure, including patching, verification of anti-virus updates, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Create and maintain updated documentation for each client's environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with cloud servers, services, and software, or equivalent sys admin experience with on-prem server and virtualization environments.
  • Experience in a 24x7 managed services, hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and associated ITSM systems and service portals for Incident and Change Management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux system administration, supporting and scaling virtual server cloud or on-prem environments and solving network issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for problem-solving and learning new technologies.
