Entry-Level Financial Professional

The role of an entry-level financial professional at QBE Insurance is a key position that provides vital support to accounting and reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain standard documentation processes and ensure they are accessible to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure service delivery meets customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to meet financial obligations.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate accounting records to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Contribute to process refinement and procedure development to enhance efficiency.
  • Support special investigations/projects concerning commercial accounting issues as required.
  • Participate in internal meetings to share strategy, knowledge, and best practices.
  • Assist in credit control management.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Current or pending certifications as a qualified accountant.
  • Relevant work experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
