Job Description

Design and build data visualization tools to empower public-sector and non-profit leaders make informed decisions. Collaborate with complex datasets, develop reliable data models, and leverage Power BI (and occasionally Tableau) to create compelling dashboards.

Develop clean, user-friendly visualizations that clearly communicate trends, insights, and key performance indicators. Ensure a strong foundation in SQL and excellent data-wrangling skills.

Work with various data sources, including student information, finance/HR data, and other related datasets. Create comprehensive data models by building relationships across disparate files.

Clean, standardize, filter, and transform data to create datasets ready for analysis and display graphically.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficient in creating data visualizations using business intelligence software, ideally with experience in Power BI or significant experience with Tableau.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a role focused on data analysis, including SQL/relational databases.
  • Experience working with data sets in various conditions/formats and which require building relationships across disparate files to create a comprehensive data model.
  • Strong understanding of what makes for a compelling visualization, able to tell a story using data, and draw insights from large datasets.
