About This Job Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled rater to contribute to the development and testing of AI rating guidelines during early-stage pilot projects. As an Experimental Rater, you'll play a critical role in shaping the systems that train large language models by identifying gray areas in guidelines, flagging edge cases, and offering structured feedback that engineers can act on.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in new guideline pilot projects by reviewing ambiguous or edge-case examples with attention to linguistic nuance and rating logic.
  • Identify inconsistencies, unclear instructions, or subjective interpretation risks in evolving rating criteria.
  • Surface detailed insights about rating complexity, user intent confusion, and contextual mismatches that can inform guideline updates.
  • Translate technical or abstract rating experiences into clear feedback for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to presentations, data summaries, or insight write-ups that explain rater interpretation trends or rating difficulties.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to resolve ambiguity.
  • Interest in language, logic, and AI development.
  • Experience with data labeling or guideline evaluation is a plus.
