Freelance Research Reviewer

We are seeking a freelance research reviewer in geriatric medicine to evaluate manuscripts for academic journals, ensuring they meet high standards of research and writing. This role involves assessing manuscripts, providing constructive feedback, and recommending publication based on evaluation.

About the Role

A successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of research methodologies, excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, and strong written communication skills. The ideal candidate has at least two publications in the last two years.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate study design and methodology for appropriateness and comprehensiveness.
  • Assess novelty and contribution to the field of study.
  • Literature review: check for relevance and citation of up-to-date research.
  • Analyze results and conclusions for clarity and support.
  • Provide constructive feedback on manuscript improvements.
Requirements
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree.
  • At least two publications in the last two years.
  • Thorough understanding of research methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills.
