Bilingual Software Engineer IV

We're seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team. This role focuses on developing next-generation point-of-sale systems.

This will involve designing, coding, system performance scaling, and problem-solving by applying the latest software development principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments.

You will work with engineering teams to develop back-end APIs that support thousands of transactions and Next-Gen Products based on requirements from Product Management and engineering.

  • Developed software solutions for product design and development with 10+ years of experience.
  • Proven bilingual (Japanese-English) competency.
  • Strong development, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work in teams and collaborative fashion.

Required skills include:

  • Computer science fundamentals.
  • Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals.
  • Experience migrating monolith architecture to microservices architecture desirable.
  • Significant microservices architecture experience.
About the Role

This is a key position that requires technical expertise, collaboration, and effective communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to apply their knowledge of computer science fundamentals to drive innovation and deliver results.

Key responsibilities will include developing software solutions for product design and development, working with engineering teams to develop back-end APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
