Job Opportunity

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional to manage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple accounts, ensure accurate records, and provide financial clarity that helps our clients focus on growth.

This part-time opportunity requires ~10 hours/week (with potential to grow to full-time), flexible scheduling with catch-ups in AEST, and is fully remote.

The ideal candidate will have proven bookkeeping experience, proficiency with QuickBooks Online, and experience handling international transactions.

  • Manage QuickBooks Online including reconciliations, categorizing expenses, and invoice management
  • Clear existing backlog of bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
  • Generate and send client invoices, track payments, and issue reminders as needed
  • Handle international transfers via Airwallex and similar platforms
  • Manage retainer billing for select clients
  • Track and organize financial records across multiple revenue streams
  • Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly reports
  • (Optional) Support with tax preparation and filing
Requirements
  • Proven bookkeeping experience (at least 1 year), ideally with small or creative businesses
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Experience handling international transactions
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Comfortable with remote tools (Google Drive, QuickBooks, Slack/WhatsApp)
Nice-to-Haves
  • Familiarity with Airwallex or other multi-currency platforms
  • Understanding of Australian accounting/tax standards
  • Experience working in creative industries, eCommerce, or hospitality
