Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to fill this critical role in our finance department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Streamline and maintain both normal and complex accounts.
  • Analyze and interpret data from Excel spreadsheets and deliver comprehensive reports.
  • Monitor transactions and prepare financial reports.
  • Perform period-end General Ledger account reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Import and post journal entries into the general ledger.
  • Identify and resolve accounting issues.
  • Deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Create roles and accounting procedures to reduce costs.
Requirements:
  • 8 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and web-based tools.
  • High accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a track record of high-quality work completion.
  • Solve complex problems using a hands-on approach.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
